Apr. 11. Day 14 - I Said Goodbye To my Favorite Comic Shop

Day14Packing

Today was a weird day since I decided to be off my ADHD meds. They help me a lot with my anxiety, but I felt I needed a break given how exhausted I've felt but still needing the meds to get through work. I'm glad I made the decision as it's the evening now and I'm feeling way more rested. I also made the decision to sleep in, which I think I will repeat for tomorrow.

More packing got done, we went to the Comic Shop to pick up some supplies for the move, some orders we still hadn't picked up, and to say goodbye to our favorite store workers. They're fully women staffed and the coolest and easiest people to talk to. I'm going to miss having such a comforting experience, but I hope the new comic shops we frequent can be just as cozy or cool.

On the Packing Front

All the books have been packed. That's all I have the energy to right because I am soooo ooooover thinking about books. I can't wait to get started packing my kitchen and baking stuff. It's going to feel like so much progress all at once.

Garyu

So funny story. I log on just to get some matches for my battle pass weekly, and then no one is really around in Quick Match? So I had to go into Ranked just to get matches. And somehow I ended up winning and ranking up to Garyu. I have never gotten past this rank, so. I don't know what to expect. But I hope it leads to an easier time finding matches in Quick Match because I just want the battle pass done. Now that Strive 2.0 is out and well received, I want to spend my time learning Jam instead.

Thinking About Tomorrow

I need to bake some bread tomorrow, of some sort. Maybe the oatmeal loaf again. And also I want to get through packing all of my baking stuff. I want to stop thinking about it so badly. I need it behind me.

If I can do both those things, I'm spending the rest of the day playing Jam in Guilty Gear, lmao.
