Day 10 - We're Back
Okay, got less sleep than but feeling a lot better than yesterday. There's just going to be bad mental health days while we juggle everything before the move and I'm going to accept that instead of interrogate it to death like I do everything else.
Today is a busy work day so there won't be time for much, but a majority of our packing supplies have now come in so I intend to start the last leg of the book packing. I want every book in a box before Sunday. If I manage my energy well and approach it at a good pace, it's very possible.
The stuff to pack our picture frames also came in so I might make time this weekend to take art down from the walls and put them all together.
Important Dates
- Hades Dental Surgery - April 15th.
- Doctor's Appointment - April 20th.
- Dental Surgery Eval - April 23rd.

On the Packing Front

The boyfriend couldn't do much packing today because of his job, and I also had to hold back on packing because of mine. It got busy today. But I still managed a bunch!
Boxes packed
- Book Boxes 6 through 10 - managed to get almost all the rest of the books we had left in boxes. Tomorrow I plan to pack what I hope is the final three, and then continue and hopefully come close to finish packing my cooking stuff.
Stretch

Was able to easily fit this into my lunch hour and also take a shower. Taking this as a big win!
Chess
Only did the Chess.com app daily puzzles. Took too much brain today at work and then carefully packing all our books.
Tekken 8
Well against my better judgment I went online to do some matches. I figured that I should get as many matches in as I could now since the Guilty Gear Strive 2.0 patch drops tomorrow and I have no idea if it'll be harder to find matches in Tekken later in the week because of it.
But also because I intend to go back to Strive and see if I like it better in its 2.0 form.
I had the fortune of facing a Claudio who faced me for a full 10 rounds. I only won 4 of them. I couldn't really figure out how to get around his spacing or strings, or when to punish. He's a weird character to fight. But the guy I faced was really funny. He started tea bagging me!! And then I won a match and started tea bagging back. It became really fun. I enjoy moments where it feels like I can talk with the person on the other side. I just wish I put up a better fight.
Things On Break:
- Baking
- Drawing
- Forums
- Game Dev
- SF Third Strike (On break until I finish the Tekken battlepass and the Guilty Gear Strive 2.0 patch)
Thinking About Tomorrow
I'm going to call the apartment complex for some questions about the application process and possible book a video tour. Going to see if the boyfriend and I can settle on an apartment that we can start moving into on April 24th.
I also want to do a bunch of cooking and baking tomorrow to go through more of the flour. I know that I'm probably pushing it with how much I want to accomplish tomorrow, as well. But if I can get a good night's sleep I think I can really manage it. As long as I start right at 8 AM.
Dates I'm Looking Forward To
- Tomorrow - Guilty Gear Strive 2.0!! Excited to try the game again and play Jam.
- July 2nd - Avatar fighting game release!!
- August 6th - Marvel Tokkon release!
