Rocky Beginnings
A lot has happened in the last few days! More than I really have the energy to explain right now. But the main points are:
We moved to a new state and city! I'm currently typing this from my new apartment while my boyfriend is already back at our old place. He's coordinating with a friend of ours to drive a Uhaul up here over the weekend. In the meantime I'll be tidying things up and getting new furniture ready and just enjoying the new place.
The boyfriend had to make a trip to the ER on Saturday due to alcohol poisoning. It was our first full day here and luckily we had spent the night over at a friend's house. They were able to drive us to the ER to get him the medical attention he needed. It was a scary situation for us both, but we made it totally okay. I'm hoping no more scares like that happen any time soon. My nervous system is too fragile.
A lot of money is being spent, lol.
My sleep has been terrible the last few nights, but I'm hoping I can get a few solid hours each night until I settle into my new environment. Tomorrow and Tuesday will be a big day of unboxing stuff and organizing so I hope to get a lot of cleaning done, as well. Really glad I took the week off from work to focus on all of this, gotta say.
